Many of the banks of Panama have an investment side. Here you can buy a CD or a money market fund invest in Latin American companies or a company in other parts of the world. Many of these investment houses have a platform that allow you to buy stocks on any stock exchange in the world.

If you don’t want to invest with the banks considering their connection to the US banking system, after all we use the US dollar so they are very linked, then you may want to try one of the independent brokerage houses.

You can also find opportunities for joint ventures with some of the real estate companies. So if you want to put yoru money to work in a safe country where your rights to your money are proetected then you may want to looki into investing here in Panama.

Don’t be naive. We have our share of crooks too so do your home work and if you are buying Right of Possession land or untitled land relying on a Panamanian to provide you with title once they get it, use a good lawyer to protect yourself.
